Earth Malaysia
“I localize climate narratives and empower youth to champion climate justice in Southeast Asia. Through the Fellowship, I gained a deep sense of solidarity and movement-building skills that have meaningfully impacted my work.
Meeting advocates from around the world have expanded my understanding of climate justice with different theories of change and strategies to complement my local efforts. It is exactly these kinds of civil networks that protect us and help spread our message and climate campaigns effectively.
I also really love this fellowship’s for-advocates-by-advocates approach, which cover both the technical and spiritual aspects of our work. I found this safe space to be vulnerable about the challenges of our work enriching, and important for a sustainable movement. I’m thankful that 350.org was there to provide technical guidance and support my journey of international advocacy at COP28.
I’m so grateful to be part of this tightly bound and sincere community of change, and hope every youth advocate gets to experience this.”
